New regulations required additional waste water disposal fields

Client:

Private Golf Course and Residential Complex

Project Problem

The client has operated a spray irrigation disposal facility in Eastern NC for over fifteen years before regulators required the siting of additional waste water disposal fields since original fields were becoming overloaded . Client had been sited for over applying treated waste water and exceeding NCAC 2L Ground Water Standards.

Solution

An extensive soil and ground water investigation was performed to determine the loading capacity of the new fields and to ensure that all contaminants of concern were staying on client’s property by he installation of replacement and additional monitor wells. We provide annual reporting to comply with the new Non-discharge permit, adjusted hydraulic and nutrient loading on each of the 17 spray fields thus ensuring compliance with the permit.
